MyCentennial Privacy Policy

Rock Solid Technologies, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and contractors (hereafter, "RST") is the developer, owner and operator of MyCentennial, a SaaS software solution for civic engagement and citizen relationship management.

This software is purchased by Centennial (hereafter, “Partner Entities”) to provide services (“Services”) to their staff, their citizen constituents and other stakeholders (hereafter, “Users’).

Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Terms

This Privacy Policy applies to all websites and software applications owned and operated by RST and to all the other products and services offered by RST including our API (collectively referred to as "RST Applications").

By using RST Applications, you represent that you are 13 years old or older and you consent to the information collection and use practices described herein.

The use of RST Applications is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

By visiting or using the RST Applications you agree to be bound by these terms. In addition, you understand that the specific method, features and services offered on the RST Applications may be altered, improved, removed or adapted at any time by RST in its sole discretion and without notice, subject to other contractual provisions that may be in place with our customers.

RST is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Below is information outlining our support for the responsible management of consumer and personal information.

Third Party Websites and Applications

The RST Applications contain links to other websites or application operated by third parties. RST accepts no liability and provides no warranties with regards to the services provided by such 3rd party websites or applications.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

RST collects and stores certain information from and about Users in the course of those Users interacting with the application via its user interfaces or APIs.

Examples of information RST Applications capture (in database or logs) include:

  • User Personal Information
    • Name
    • Address
    • Email
    • Telephone Number
  • Device / System Access Information
    • Internet Protocol (IP) address.
    • Mobile device platform.
    • Mobile device type.
    • Mobile device operating system.
    • Mobile device id.
    • The kind of browser, computer, mobile platform and/or device being used.
    • Current location or user defined location.
    • State or country from which the site was is being accessed.
    • Date and time.
    • Internet Service Provider
    • Referrer URL - the web page the User navigated from to access our application
  • User activity
    • Number of links clicked within the application.
    • Activity within the application (e.g. pages viewed)

Use / Sharing of Data With Third Parties

With regards to User Personal Information, RST acts as a data processor on behalf of the Partner Entity to whom we are directly providing our RST applications as a service.

RST does not share this information with any third parties except our Partner Entities who are subscribed to our RST Applications.

For the most part authorized representatives of the Partner Entity access this information through the application itself, although it could from time to time also be provided through other means in the context of services engagements to enhance the solution or support tickets.

Information relating to Device/System Access or User Activity that we capture in our system logs is not surfaced in the application user interfaces or APIs and it is not shared with any organizations outside of RST including Partner entities.

The Partner Entity has a key role with regards to privacy of User data. Representatives of the Partner Entity are Users of the RST Application but are not employed by or agents of RST.

RST strongly encourages all Users to review Partner Entities' privacy policies in addition to this RST policy. RST accepts no responsibility with regards to the privacy policies of our Partner Entities or the compliance of their representatives with those policies.

RST may share aggregated demographic information about our member base with other entities, such as advertisers. This information does not identify individual users. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information. RST will not share personally identifiable information with any entity, without the consent of the User.

RST will not give or sell User Personal Information to third parties, except in those situations where we are required to do so by law or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with the law or with legal process served on us; (ii) protect and defend our rights or property; or (iii) act in an emergency to protect someone's safety.
